As the Freshmen Welcoming Activity, otherwise known as “rubnong,” was just around the corner, the Sophomore Class Committee (CMM658) of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), decided to prepare a workshop for the senior participants (658 and older) that joined the adventure of friendship in order to have a glimpse of the joy that they will have to bring to their freshmen within a few weeks.

The workshop took place on April 20, 2024 at rooms A235 and A520 in Aditayathorn Building, where the participants got to practice a set of potential skills and gain some in their arsenal from dancing to ice-breaking activities to practicing some musical performances.

Overall, the activity was a great success, with 43 students coming to participate in this two-day journey. The Sophomore Class Committee offered every participant a chance to express themselves and form a bond that will last a lifetime. The committee also provided lunch and drinks for all of the participants. CMM said it wants to thank every participant who helped contribute to a friendly environment and wish every group success in their “rubnong” activities with the freshmen.
