The Science Society Club of Mahidol University International Club (MUIC) hosted the “UV Resin Keychains Workshop” on October 3, 2024 at the Ground Floor of Aditayathorn Building  near the 7-11 outlet.

Meant to provide the 54 participating students with a creative and scientific experience in preservation techniques using epoxy resin, this activity allowed students to explore the fascinating science behind preservation—a vital practice in botany and zoology. The students crafted personalized UV resin keychains featuring various plant and flower specimens while learning how epoxy resin can protect and preserve organic materials.

Through hands-on engagement, students gained insight into the morphology of plants and flowers, appreciating their intricate structures and natural beauty. This workshop not only encouraged creativity but also highlighted the significance of preserving nature’s delicate forms for future generations.
