The Sophomore Class Committee (CMM658) of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized an online activity during January 1- 12, 2024 for the newly accepted freshmen, giving them a chance to get to know their seniors. Online as it may be, it came with a twist!

A total of 140 freshmen who participated were contacted anonymously by their seniors through Instagram, with challenges set up for them to do. All this while also trying to guess who out of everyone in sophomore year was messaging and having wholehearted conversations with them.

Challenges varied from freshmen to freshmen. These challenges could be anything from having the freshmen do push-ups, drawing how they think their seniors look, or even having the freshmen show their seniors their bravery and amazing skills. However, not all activities are online. CMM658 had set up a small booth as a link between the freshmen and seniors to exchange gifts with each other anonymously on January 8 - 12, 2024 at the canteen next to 7-Eleven, Aditayathorn Building.

In the end, seniors revealed who they are to their freshmen, giving them a glimpse of the friendliness, kindness, and reliability of their peers. This gave a sense of connection between the new freshmen to get advice, know communities, and meet people through the seniors whom they had befriended in this “Senior Code.”
