The new officers of the Board Game Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) held its first official meeting of the academic year on November 25, 2025 at Room A449, Aditayathorn Building.

The event brought together 34 students composed of committee members and new members for an afternoon of introductions and discussions, giving members the chance to get to know one another better. The relaxed atmosphere encouraged conversations and created a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, from seasoned board gamers to new members.

The event also offered valuable experience in planning, organizing and discussing the activities for the 1st Trimester. Committee members ensured that the meet-up—and the planned events that the club will be hosting in the next couple of week—ran smoothly, as well.

Overall, the event was a success in fostering stronger social bonds among the club members. With the first meet-up now behind them, the Board Game Club said it looks forward to more events that will continue to bring students together through shared experiences, teamwork, and, of course, fun.

While one of the perks of finishing an IRONMAN is the right to brag, that isn’t the point of this post. The point is that MUIC supported me in achieving this personal goal through the 40th Anniversary Academic Changemakers Scholarship.
