Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) E-Sports Club held its Unofficial Valorant Tournament on March 15-17, 2023.

A total of six teams competed in this tournament with Zuba eSports emerging as the winner. The members of the team are:

1. Thanakorn Sadhu (ICMK)

3. Suvijak Wiwattanakajohnsuk (ICMI)

4. Warinthorn Samerpak (ICMC)

5. Vasit Saengthongpinit (ICMF)

The Unofficial Valorant Tournament was a competitive gaming event that brought together players from the gaming community to showcase their skills in a fast-paced and exciting e-sports, as the club initially aimed to host a friendly tournament where players can get to know one another in the community.

The Unofficial Valorant Tournament also provided gameplay analysis for each player in order for them to learn competition. Each team consisted of five players and a substitute player was allowed as long as they are MUIC students.

The 31 participating students competed in a best-of-three style tournament, where two teams were matched, and one team must win two games in order to win the series. The teams that won advanced to the next rounds, using the same rules as the VCT tournament. There was no prize pool for the winners more about their strengths and what they can improve. Participants also had a chance to meet new people, make friends, and build teamwork and lasting connections in the gaming community.
