The Mahidol University International College Volunteer Club organized a 5-day volunteer camp in Prachinburi province. The students helped build new facilities at Wat Pak Nam School, including classrooms, a playground, and a waste management system. In addition, MUIC students also taught English, science, and career preparation classes, as well as arts and crafts.
These initiatives made a positive impact on the daily lives of the students and teachers at Wat Pak Nam School. Though the mentioned volunteering tasks and team bonding activities. the MUIC students have gained valuable soft and hard skills, such as teamwork, leadership, and creativity. The Volunteer Club received positive feedback from the participants, who expressed their enjoyment of the activities and the friendships they made.
The camp aligns with SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities as it provided educational opportunities to the students of Wat Pak Nam School, helping them to develop skills and knowledge.
