The Animations, Games and Comics Club (AGC Club) of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) returned for one last podcast for the 3rd Trimester, featuring a thrilling adventure in the infamous role-playing game of Dungeons & Dragons in several broadcasts running from 8:00 pm until 11:00 pm on April 30, May 14, and June 25, 2024.

Starring the Five Staffs of the AGC Club as the hosts of this podcast, (Rin, Jorn, Dallas, Nicky and Boss), the broadcast doubles as a story for one to follow from start to finish in the form of a gameplay of the roleplaying game, where the narratives are decided by the DM (Dungeon Master) in this case being “Boss” who inserted himself as the God of Chaos within the vibrant world of the game.

The viewers and followers of the AGC Club can tune in and follow along the adventures of the staff inside this world often influencing some of the decisions that may be taken by the players, especially in the grand conclusion of the campaign this year, and also gaining AT points for following through with the hosts until the end.

In this episode, the four adventurers (Rin, Jorn, Dallas, Nicky) as well as a character controlled by Boss runs into a gauntlet of enemies handpicked and crafted by the Dungeon Master himself as an obstacle towards their ultimate goal of searching for a missing elvish Alchemist inside the Helix Ruins where they run into many otherwise uncommon or extinct species of fauna and flora.

The party fought through most of the gauntlet with ease, but a character controlled by Jorn and the leader of the party falls short against the Flame Mimic after a hard-fought battle, but not before taking it down with him. But at the end of it all, the party lives to fight another day despite the fall of one of their party leaders and thus concluding their adventure in Faerun for the trimester.

The AGC Club said that since it may plan to do an encore of the Dungeons & Dragons Podcast, it had requested its followers to stay tuned for more unusual adventures.

On August 22, 2026, I completed my first IRONMAN triathlon in Tallinn, Estonia: a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km marathon. It took me 11 hours and 35 minutes. While one of the perks of finishing an IRONMAN is the right to brag, that isn’t the point of this post. The point is that MUIC supported me in achieving this personal goal through the 40th Anniversary Academic Changemakers Scholarship.
