E-Sport Club Organizes Valorant Tournament

Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Esport Club organized a Valorant Tournament online where participants teamed up into groups of 5 or more and faced each other in a knockout competition to be the overall winner of the 3rd Trimester’s tournament on Tuesday, May 21 to May 24, 2024.

The pairs for each round were carefully selected by Esport club executives in order to get together teams whose average ranks are closest to each other in hopes of making the competition as fair and entertaining for the participants as possible. Cash prizes provided by the event sponsor, Mabinsauce, were awarded to the teams that finished in the Top 3 positions, respectively.

The 43 participants had the unique opportunity to learn team-building and coordination skills while navigating their way in hopes of securing victory and proceeding onwards to the succeeding rounds.

Moreover, non-participants who were interested in the game also had a unique opportunity to view the 3rd Place and Final matchups, adding a bit more intensity and inclusivity to everyone who loves the game.
