The Cycling Club held its signature trimestral activity, the “Weekly Ride in Salaya” between May 5 and July 2, 2026.
This trimester, Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Cycling Club successfully wrapped up its signature activity, the “Weekly Ride in Salaya.” Spanning four separate weeks between May 5 and July 2, 2026, the initiative brought together 10 passionate cyclists who explored the scenic routes of both the Mahidol University Salaya campus and the nearby Phutthamonthon Park.
The program was designed to offer students more than just a standard workout. It served as a social gateway, allowing participants to build new friendships, exchange cycling tips, and gain a deeper appreciation for the local geography. Cooler, cloudy weather throughout the term provided a comfortable breeze for the riders, while clear-sky days treated them to spectacular, panoramic views of Phutthamonthon Park’s lush landscapes.
To ensure a welcoming atmosphere, each session began with a social hour featuring drinks, snacks, and icebreaker activities. After a brief safety assessment and bike selection process, participants set off on carefully mapped, moderate-distance routes. Following a highly successful term of fresh perspectives and new connections, the club is eagerly looking forward to welcoming both returning riders and newcomers next term.
