MUIC Dean is Panel Speaker in THE Asia Universities Summit

The Dean of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) was a panel discussion speaker in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia Universities Summit 2024 held from April 29 to May 1, 2024 Sunway University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., MUIC Dean, was part of the panel entitled, “Innovative Approaches to Curriculum Design and Skill Development” together with Dr. Catherine Hack, Lead Consultant (Education), AdvanceHE, UK; Prof. Kwok-yin Wong, Vice President for Education, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong; Dr. Emiliano Bosio, Professor of Education, Toyo University, Japan; and Prof. Angela Yung Chi Hou, College of Education, National Chengchi University, Taiwan.

Prof. Dr. Chai Lay Ching, Pro Vice Chancellor of Education, Sunway University, Malaysia served as the moderator. The panel’s discussion revolved around exchange strategies, technologies, and ideas on preparing students in the future.

Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, also attended the event which has the theme, “Bridging Frontiers: Changing the Landscape of Education in Asia.”

This summit bridged frontiers to reimagine the evolving landscape of education in Asia. It featured the exclusive live reveal of the THE Asia University Rankings 2024, accompanied by a detailed master class to explore the latest data and identify the best-performing institutions in the region, as well as the THE Awards Asia 2024 winners ceremony.

This conference was attended by executives from leading educational institutions, along with representatives from the public and private sectors from various countries. They expressed support for the internationalization of higher education institutions and to prepare graduates to meet the demands of the industry.
