Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Hackathon for Academic Support Staff, held under the theme “Innovative Solution for Enhancing Team Engagement,” successfully took place on September 8, 10-11, and 17, 2025, at Aditayathorn Building. The event was enthusiastically welcomed by the MUIC community, with 72 participants attending across all sessions.

Over the course of three-and-a-half days, participants engaged in inspiring activities, including keynote sessions, interactive workshops, and a final Pitching Day. Staff members had the opportunity to explore key skills such as Design Thinking, Human-Centered Innovation, and effective pitching techniques, before forming teams to present innovative solutions to a panel of judges.

In the final round, six teams competed, and three winners were announced:

  • First Prize: Team Hackoops! with their project “IC MEAL CARE – Healthy Food for Organizational Well-being”
  • Second Prize: Team Haaakathon with the project “Jerr Jaeng Job (Report & Resolve)”
  • Third Prize: Team Hackademics with the project “IC Long Learn”

The hackathon not only fostered creativity and collaboration among MUIC staff but also generated innovative project ideas with potential for further development into Research-to-Research (R2R) initiatives and cross-departmental improvements.

This successful event highlights MUIC’s commitment to creating a culture of innovation and teamwork, while enhancing employee engagement and well-being within the institution.
