MUIC Staff Goes To Rayong for Environmental Management Study Visit

The MUIC Environment and Energy-saving Committee paid a visit to Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology, NPC Safety and Environmental Service Co., Ltd., and CR Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd. on June 14-15, 2018 in order to gain more knowledge on innovative ways of managing the environment, energy, and occupational health and safety.

On the first day of the trip, the committee members visited the Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology which, aside from specializing in science, engineering and technology education, also serves as a center for researchers in innovation. This institute also cooperates with other educational institutions, business, industry, and science and technology research agencies.
Afterwards they proceeded to the NPC Safety and Environmental Service Co., Ltd. which provides health and safety services to factories in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate as well as the Emergency Management Center.
The following day, the committee members visited CR Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd. which is responsible for security and maintenance services to the petrochemical plants in the industrial estate. Later, they met with the deputy governor of Rayong province to learn more about the provincial government’s activities that support the ASEAN Economic Community.
