A team of students from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) won 1st Place in the 3C Project Development Competition and Level-up our Competency (PDCoL) organized by the Research and Project Development Department, The Society of Medical Students of Thailand under Royal Patronage at Siriraj Hospital on February 12, 2023.

The competition, which is based on the 3C model of Case, Consult, Conclude, challenged teams to diagnose a patient case and recommend further tests to confirm the diagnosis.

Team Nescio, which consisted of students from different MUIC majors, came together to provide a unique perspective on the case. The team members, Ms. Nadthawee Promprasit (Biomedical), Mr. Thammarat Lapprakobkit (Bioinformatics), and Mr. Sutanmit Sutadwanich (Travel and Service Business Entrepreneurship), worked collaboratively to provide a well-rounded and interdisciplinary approach to the case.

"We are thrilled to have won in this competition and to have demonstrated the value of interdisciplinary teamwork," said Ms. Nadthawee Promprasit. "Despite coming from different majors, we were able to work efficiently as a group and provide fresh perspectives on the case."

The Nescio team's success highlights the importance of taking on challenges and working in different fields. The team members' diverse backgrounds allowed them to approach the case with unique perspectives, and their collaboration resulted in a well-rounded diagnosis and conclusion.
