MUIC Welcomes Open School Learning Centre & The Newton Sixth Form School

A group of 60 teachers and students from OpenS chool Learning Centre & The Newton Sixth Form School visited Mahidol University International College (MUIC) on May 7, 2024.

Along with MUIC staff members and current students, several faculty members met with the visitors at Charinyarasami Hall, Aditayathorn Building including Dr. Bryan Edward Ott, Chairperson of the Fine and Applied Arts (FAA) Division, his colleagues Dr. Jerimiah Morris of the Media and Communication Program, and Ajarn Ploy Nikadanont of the Communication Design Program; along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Malinvisa Sakdiyakorn, a faculty member of the Business Administration (BA) Division.

The visiting high school students learned much about MUIC’s international programs and admissions procedure which will be helpful for their plans to apply for university. There was also a Q&A session at the conclusion of the program.

The visitors were later given a guided tour of MUIC buildings and FAA facilities (including Prism studio and Drawing Room) by MUIC students who told the high school students about their own activities and experiences in MUIC.

The project aims to support educational opportunities for under-resourced schools in provincial areas by donating lecture chairs and office equipment to enhance teaching and learning activities.
