The Mahidol University International College (MUIC) men's basketball team has completed an intensive month-long training camp, held from February 2 to 28, 2026, at the Winning Basketball Court, Phutthamonthon Sai 1.
The session, involving 22 student-athletes, was designed to build team cohesion and strategic readiness for upcoming competitions.
Coaches structured the camp to progressively build chemistry. The initial week focused on overcoming player unfamiliarity through drills designed to synchronize individual playstyles. As the athletes grew more accustomed to each other, the training shifted to implementing complex team strategies and offensive plays during the second week.
The final phase of the camp culminated in a series of full-court scrimmages, simulating real-game scenarios to test their new strategies and identify areas for improvement. By the end of the camp, the coaching staff noted a significant enhancement in the team’s on-court communication and coordination, successfully achieving the primary goal of the preseason training. The team now looks ahead to the official university matches with a renewed sense of unity and purpose.
