With Valentine’s Day getting closer and closer, Mahidol University International College (MUIC) came prepared—offering students a heartwarming and vibrant celebration of love.

“Valley of Love,” hosted by the MUIC Student Association (SMO Som-O) was an event designed to foster connection and admiration, packed with a small market, unique Valentine’s gift shops, live performances, and a festive photo booth.

Held on February 13, 2025 at Room A235, Aditayathorn Building, the centerpiece of the celebration was the Valentine’s Day Photo Booth, where students were invited to capture fun moments with friends, classmates, partners, lovers, etc. Decorated with love-themed props, the photo booth offered a perfect opportunity for participants to create memories to cherish. In addition, the event featured several pop-up shops selling snacks and Valentine’s gifts. There was even a tarot card reading for those who were curious and interested in finding more about their future; an opportunity for those to find the perfect gift for their loved ones.

To keep the energy rolling, a live performance from the Dance Club with stunning choreography left participants thrilled. It was then followed by live music from the Music Club performing classical and timeless love songs. The audience—practically everyone in the Exhibition Hall—sang along. These performances created an exciting atmosphere, enhancing the Valentine's Day spirit on campus. It not only entertained but also highlighted the talent and creativity that is abundant within the MUIC community.

SMO Som-O’s “Valley of Love” activity was more than just a fun event—it iwas a way to bring students together to share moments of joy, love, and appreciation. Additionally, during the days leading up to the event, SMO Som-O gave the chance to those who will preorder flowers so that they could spend time with their partners after SMO Som-O’s event.

A turnout of 343 participants showed the combination of interactive activities, heartfelt performances, and opportunities to give back created a perfect balance of fun and meaningful experiences for all.
