After a year of trying out new events, the International Student Committee (ISC) has returned for another round of “Sawasdee International,” an event many international students of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) look forward to because it offers them a chance to meet new friends.

Approximately 102 participants showed up on May 23 - 24, 2024 at Charinyarasami Hall, 3rd Floor, Aditayathorn Building, where they were able to integrate into the community by joining highly interactive activities which encouraged students to bond with each other through teamwork.

The activities included Ice Breakers, Human Knot, Dragon’s Cave, Charades, King’s Game, and the main event, the Scavenger Hunt. These games were incorporated into “Sawasdee International” in order to promote inclusivity and altruistic mindset—values that MUIC upholds. The organizers also provided gift bags containing key chains for everyone that served as a thank-you item for joining ISC’s “Sawasdee International” event.

The organizers provided food and drinks during the snack breaks. Many of the participants expressed appreciation for the event and gave valuable suggestions for future “Sawasdee International” events. Overall, participants enjoyed their time with ISC’s event and the group’s officers expressed thanks to everyone for their participation, adding that they look forward to seeing them again in future events.
