For this year’s Halloween, the Animations, Games, and Comics (AGC) Club hosted its annual activity, “The AGC Maid Café” at the Ground Floor, Aditayathorn Building on October 31, 2023.

With this year’s event featuring savory and sugary sweets sourced from Hormchoy Bakery and coffee brewed using beans provided by local roaster CMD Salaya, AGC Club was able to conduct its activity in the usual format.

Additionally, AGC provided a karaoke booth where participants can sing any of their favorite songs, as well as a games station with party games. This year's menu included: whoopie pie, red velvet cupcake, a variety of coffee beverages derived from Cold Brew as well as soda beverages.

Holding this activity on Halloween encouraged participants to cosplay as their favorite character, enhancing the Halloween and cafe experience. Behind the scenes, with this activity aiming to donate its earnings to the Prostheses Foundation of HRH the Princess Mother, the club had volunteers helping to organize the activity in many domains. These roles included being the Maids themselves, where volunteers got to dress up as maids or cosplay their favorite character, and backstage staff who organized the behind-the-scenes tasks as well as help out with the beverages and the photographers.

This activity enabled the club to generate a lot of smiles and laughter from the participants, making it yet another memorable activity. At the same time, it earned a total income of 11,580 Baht. After cutting out some initial cost that had to be returned to the university, the club ended up with a net total of 8,680 Baht. All these earnings will go towards the Prostheses Foundation of HRH the Princess Mother in efforts to provide prostheses to people in need.

The AGC Club expressed its gratitude for being given the chance to organize activities with a worthy cause. It expressed hope that the students will participate again in its Maid Cafe activity event next year!
