Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Theatre Club successfully staged Frankenstein, a stage adaptation by Nick Dear of Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein, or The Modern Prometheus on May 7 and 8, 2026 at the Small Studio, Room A511, Aditayathorn Building.

The performance—with the potent combination of the actors, production design, lights, and sound, not to mention the gripping morality tale of a scientist bringing the dead back to life—captivated the 148 students who comprised the audience, eliciting their positive feedback, thus chalking up another success for the club. Equally important, all cast and crew members gained valuable experience from working together in the past several months. Another first for the club is its purchase of the license to stage this play.
