THM Club’s “Roaming in Amphawa Floating Market”

The THM Club’s main activity in the 1st Trimester was a field trip to Amphawa Floating Market in Samut Songkhram province on November 11, 2023.

When the participants first arrived at the market, they were briefed on how Amphawa’s community-based tourism came to be. Afterwards, they were taken on a guided tour of the community. They were then separated into small groups as they attended a workshop on making Thai traditional sweets as well as painting coconut shell keychains. After all the official activities were done, the participants were given time for themselves to explore the popular Amphawa Floating Market.

The club expressed its thanks to the Ampahwa Chaipattananurak community for guiding its participants and teaching them about community-based tourism and workshops sessions. It also thanked the participants who numbered 43 students, a lecturer, and 16 staff members for a total of 60 people.
