Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Innovative Design Cooking Club organized on November 8, 2024 an inspiring workshop, "Healthy HEALS x IDC Club for Thai Kids," at Yaowalak Wittaya Thonburi School in Bangkok.

The event brought together 254 student participants to explore the fusion of health-conscious cooking and creative cuisine under the theme “Healthy HEALS x IDC Club for THAI KIDS.”

The activity aimed to educate young students about healthy eating habits, emphasizing the importance of balanced nutrition through engaging cooking demonstrations and hands-on activities. Students crafted dishes using fresh ingredients and learned how to integrate sustainable practices into their cooking, aligning with the Healthy Eating Plate principles.

The workshop also included interactive sessions where participants explored innovative ways to prepare nutritious meals while reducing food waste. By the end of the day, students gained a deeper appreciation for mindful eating and sustainable culinary practices, fostering a sense of creativity and responsibility in shaping the future of food culture.
