Organization Carbon Footprint Assessment of Mahidol University International College

The objective of this study is to assess organization carbon footprint of Mahidol University International College. According to the guidelines of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) (Public Organization). The greenhouse gas emissions can be classified into 3 scopes: (1) direct emissions (2) energy indirect emissions and (3) other energy indirect emissions. The assessment was used activities data from year 2019. Result of study found that the organization carbon footprint of Mahidol University International College was 1,142.28 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e) with Scope 1, 2 and 3 were 132.51 tCO2e, 976.75 tCO2e and 33.02 tCO2e, respectively. Scope 2 contribute to the most carbon dioxide emission at 85.51%. Therefore, electric energy usage is urgently needed to reduce CFO, and would be caused to reducing in greenhouse gas, which effect to global warming, efficiently.
