Several Mahidol University International College (MUIC) students have taken to social media to express their self-confidence and self-acceptance through their outfits as part of GENSCAPE Club’s online event on June 12 - 23, 2023 on its official Instagram account (@muic_genscape).

The “Clothes Have No Gender” event was held in hopes of boosting MUIC students’ confidence, the club said, adding that, “it is not limited to socially constructed norms. Participants have styled themselves in both creative, casual, and simple outfits. They have put forward the idea that confidence is not determined only by how creative your outfit is, but also how comfortable and happy you feel in it.”

Three winners were selected by GENSCAPE executive members and were each gifted a Starbucks Gift Card as an appreciation for taking their time to dress up and participate.

The winners were Panada Phradum, junior ICIR student, Poonyapat Pulsapya freshman ICCD student, and Natthapong Kanawattanakul, senior ICMF student.
