Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Investment Club organized AmplifyME on September 26, 2025 in four classrooms in Aditayathorn Building.
AmplifyME or M&A Finance Accelerator is a 2-hour interactive program where students took on the role of a junior UBS (Union Bank of Switzerland analyst). The session featured an industry overview, a hands-on simulation that focuses on valuing Tesla using DCF (Discounted Cash Flow), EV (Enterprise Value), and multiple analysis. Participants also received feedback and were able to check their standing on a leaderboard. Performance was scored based on speed, method, and output.
Some 50 high-performing participants received invitations to AmplifyME’s Banking Academy, along with potential UBS referral opportunities. The event was held in an online format in which participants were required to bring in their own devices in order to be able to join in the activities. However, for those who did not bring their own devices, the Zoom meeting with the experts were shown on the projector within the classroom that the Investment Club has booked prior.
