A lecturer and five students from the International Relations and Government Affairs (IRGA) Program of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) visited Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health on May 20, 2026 for a productive and insightful educational visit.
During the visit, the group led by Ajarn Pattaka Sa-ngimnet received from the Division of AIDS and STIs of the Department of Disease Control a large number of educational materials for HIV and sexually transmitted disease (STD) prevention and awareness campaigns. The materials can be used in the upcoming Gender Day activities on campus scheduled from June 1 to 14, 2026.
The delegation also attended a presentation at the conference room of the Department of Health, hosted by the Deputy Director of the Planning Division, Department of Health. During the session, participants learned more about current public health initiatives and preventive healthcare strategies in Thailand.
In addition, Ajarn Pattaka established formal connections with officials of both the Department of Disease Control and the Department of Health to explore future collaborations, academic discussions, and field trip opportunities for IRGA students.
