Three distinguished alumni from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) returned to campus on May 18, 2026, to provide current students with a firsthand look into career paths in diplomacy, international organizations, and academia.
The event which was held at the Screening Room, Aditayathorn Building, was entitled “Insights from IRGA Alumni: Stories, Lessons, and Life after Graduation” and was a part of the "Path for Career Success" series. It brought together students and graduates of the International Relations and Global Affairs (IRGA) program.
The panel featured Pinda Viriyapongsri, a diplomat with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Department of International Organizations; Koshakorn Pakdeesatitvara, a Programme Officer at the ASEAN University Network (AUN) Secretariat; and Titipat Wanlopbanhan, a lecturer at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).
Each speaker detailed their professional journey, sharing insights on how their academic foundation at MUIC prepared them for their respective fields. The discussion was followed by an interactive Q&A session.
The session was organized by MUIC’s Alumni Affairs and Career Development Group in partnership with the MUIC Career Insights Club and the IRGA Program.
According to organizers, the event aimed to equip students with practical advice and encouragement as they plan their own career trajectories. The "Path for Career Success" series will continue to host similar events throughout the upcoming academic year.
