MUIC Holds Orientation for 181 Exchange and Visiting Students

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) welcomed 181 inbound exchange and visiting students who enrolled in Trimester 2, AY 2024-25 and gave them an orientation on MUIC policies along with useful tips on living in Thailand on  January 3, 2025 at A556 Spectrum Screening Space, Aditayathorn Building, MUIC.

The foreign students were composed of  different nationalities including American, British, Cambodian, Canadian, Danish, Finnish, French, German, Indian, Irish, Italian, Korean, Nepalese, New Zealander, Romanian, Singaporean, Spanish, Swiss, Taiwanese, Tunisian, and Ukrainian.

Asst. Prof. Dale Konstanz, Associate Dean for International Affairs, gave the welcome speech.

MUIC lecturers and staff members gave presentations that would be useful for the international students including MUIC’s academic policies and student services along with a crash course on Thai language and culture.

Afterwards, the students participated in the “Amazing Race” activity at Salaya campus, a fun way for the exchange students to learn more about the campus at the same time building ties between each of them. In the evening, a formal dinner was hosted for the students at Baan Nam Kieng Din restaurant, fostering a warm and cordial atmosphere. The orientation was organized by the Office of International Affairs.
