Mahidol University International College (MUIC) honored six distinguished graduates with the Most Outstanding Alumni Awards during a ceremony held at the Auditorium in MUIC Building 1 on October 1, 2026.
Addressing an audience largely composed of graduating students, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, MUIC Dean, commended the recipients as inspirations and role models for the upcoming graduating class. Ajarn Wimonsiri Hemtanon, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, formally presented the six awardees, each receiving a plaque of recognition from Dean Yingyot.
The 2025 awardees represent a wide range of professional fields, spanning international diplomacy, tourism, corporate leadership, digital arts, and entertainment:
Mr. Karin Kunjara Na Ayudhaya (Social Science, 1st Class Honors, 2013) – Counselor at the Royal Thai Embassy, Abu Dhabi. Mr. Karin Kunjara Na Ayudhaya was unable to attend the event as he is currently abroad, sending instead a video message.
Mr. Ratchaporn Poolsawadee (Tourism and Hospitality Management, 2016) – Honorary Consul of the Swiss Confederation in Surat Thani and Vice President of the Tourism Council of Thailand.
Ms. Aurkarn Sumrualhan (Marketing, 2016) – Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Yoku Group.
Ms. Natnicha Promdee (Intercultural Studies and Languages, 1st Class Honors, 2023) – Attaché at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Cheewapong Thitiwongthaveewate (Animation Production, 2011) – 2D Artist, Concept Designer, and Educator.
Ms. Cherprang Areekul (Chemistry, 2nd Class Honors, 2019) – Artist, Entrepreneur, and Former Idol Group Leader.
Following the presentation of awards, the honorees delivered brief acceptance speeches, expressing gratitude to MUIC and acknowledging the foundational role their university education played in shaping their respective careers. They also offered words of wisdom to the graduating class while extending their congratulations.
