Mahidol University International College (MUIC) pulled out all the stops for its two-day Open Days event this year which was held at Prince Mahidol Hall Conference Center. More than 6,000 visitors—the highest number to date—came to learn more about MUIC’s 17 majors along with the student-related services it offers. Each major (including the Preparation Center for Languages and Mathematics or PC) had a dedicated booth where staff and faculty members along with student volunteers entertained queries from the visiting high school students.  There were also mock classes and workshops where the visitors can experience a typical class in MUIC. They also learned about the college’s admission requirements and procedure from the staff in the Admissions booth and also be amazed at the study abroad possibilities at MUIC’s student exchange program. Guided tours were also available for high school students eager to explore MUIC’s buildings and facilities. We randomly talked to several visiting high school students to ask which major they are interested in and also about their Open Days experience.
