MUIC Signs MOA with AIB Asia Pacific Chapter

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Academy of International Business (AIB) Asia Pacific Chapter during a ceremony held on April 1, 2026 at Meeting Room A254, Aditayathorn Building.

MUIC was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, Associate Dean and Acting Dean, while the AIB Asia Pacific Chapter was represented by its President, Prof. Bradley R. Barnes, who is a prominent scholar in international marketing based at Lingnan University, Hong Kong.

The Business Administration Division of MUIC hosted a reception organized by the BA Research Team to warmly welcome the visiting delegation.

In the course of the event, the AIB Asia Pacific Chapter officially announced that it has invited MUIC to serve as co-host of the AIB Asia Pacific Chapter Conference 2026 which will be held in Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand, on December 8–10, 2026. Following the signing ceremony, both parties started the organizational planning and discussed the collaboration details for the upcoming conference.

This prestigious conference will bring together scholars, researchers, and professionals in international business from across the Asia-Pacific region to exchange insights, research findings, and emerging global business trends.

MUIC’s role as co-host highlights its strong global academic network and commitment to advancing international research collaboration while positioning Thailand as a regional hub for academic conferences and knowledge exchange.
