Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Diving Club organized “Scuba Ocean Session” in order to provide great opportunities for students who are interested in scuba diving on November 16 - 17, 2024 at Samaesarn Harbor, Sattahip, Chonburi province.

There were three main reasons. First, students can take a scuba diving course and get their certificate at a significantly cheaper price. Second, the club aims to promote marine knowledge and conservation. Lastly, specialized activities are also promoted, which can be joined only by people with diving licenses.

The MUIC Diving Club, along with professional instructors, took 20 scuba diving students who have already attended scuba tryouts to some dive sites in the Samaesarn area. Students were able to practice scuba diving in the sea and then proceeded to take a practical exam in order to get their own certificates.

Along with practicing scuba diving in the sea, students received a permanent worldwide

diving certification. Additionally, through this activity, students learned to value marine life and appreciate the need to preserve ecology.
