On October 29, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, Dean of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), together with college executives and staff, attended “Light of Dawn: The Resilient Queen Rambhai Barni of Siam” at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University.
Organized by the Prajadhipok-Rambhai Barni Foundation in collaboration with the Mahidol University Foundation under Royal Patronage, the commemorative concert honored Queen Rambhai Barni, Queen Consort of King Prajadhipok (Rama VII), following UNESCO’s recognition of her legacy on the centenary of her contributions to education, sustainable social development, and gender equality (1926-2026).
Presented as an immersive orchestral experience combining music and theater, the performance brought her life, royal contributions, and personal virtues to life through classical music, traditional Thai compositions, theatrical performances, and rare historical films and archival images.
