Eighteen students from the International Relations and Global Affairs (IRGA) Program of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) went on an educational field trip to the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) in Bangkok, accompanied by their professors, Asst. Prof. Dr. Natanaree Posrithong and Ajarn Pattaka Sa-ngimnet.
The visit, on October 16, 2026, provided students with firsthand insights into the work of the United Nations (UN) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). Through a briefing session and a tour of the UN facilities, students had the opportunity to connect classroom learning with the practical work of international organizations and gain a deeper understanding of multilateral cooperation and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The trip also introduced students to international work environments and potential career opportunities in global affairs. Combining education, exploration, and engaging experiences, the field trip was both enjoyable and inspiring, encouraging students to reflect on how they can apply their academic knowledge to address global challenges and contribute to a more sustainable future.
