MUIC’s Company Visit to The St. Regis Bangkok to Strengthen Students’ Career Readiness

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) , in collaboration with the Career Insights Club (CIC),organized a company visit to The St. Regis Bangkok, a luxury hotel under Marriott International, on July 6, 2026. The visit was led by Ajarn Wimonsiri Hemtanon, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, and participated in by students from various academic majors, providing them with an opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to the luxury hospitality industry and explore diverse career pathways.

The visit also reflected the ongoing collaboration between MUIC and Marriott International under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed in December 2024, to support student development through internships, industry engagement, and collaborative initiatives.

The program featured knowledge-sharing sessions led by Khun Michael Donato, Hotel Manager; Khun Prat Jantakat, Director of Learning & Development; Khun Nattaya Chanvithee, Director of Marketing Communications; and Khun Boonyanoot Kongrod, Director of Human Resources.

Through their presentations and discussions, students gained valuable insights into luxury hospitality operations, brand management, talent development, leadership, and the professional competencies required to succeed in the industry. The program also included an alumni sharing session by Khun Nattasit Chotichaiyon, an MUIC alumnus and Reservations Sales Agent, who shared his journey from an internship opportunity to full-time employment at The St. Regis Bangkok and offered practical advice on career development and professional growth.

Students also participated in a hotel tour and an interactive workshop, where they experienced the operations, facilities, and service standards of a world-class luxury hotel. These activities encouraged active participation while enabling students to connect classroom learning with real-world workplace practices.

The company visit to The St. Regis Bangkok reflects MUIC's continued commitment to supporting students' career development through experiential learning and strong industry partnerships. By connecting students with experienced professionals and a leading hospitality organization, MUIC continues to equip them with the knowledge, perspectives, and practical skills needed to succeed in their future careers.
