As Managing Director of Maison Bakery Co., Ltd., Ming has whipped up a sweet sensation across Thailand with her contemporary French pâtisserie brand, SOURI.
Ming’s journey wasn’t cooked up overnight. Fueled by a lifelong love of desserts and formal training at Le Cordon Bleu, she set her sights on the notoriously tricky macaron—a delicate treat requiring equal parts patience and scientific precision. Recognizing an opportunity in Thailand’s pastry scene, Ming reimagined the classic French confection with playful, contemporary flavor combinations designed to spark joy. What began in 2020 as a modest online pre-order venture quickly gained dough-mendous momentum, growing into a flourishing enterprise with approximately 40 branches nationwide.
For Ming, business growth isn’t just about rolling in dough or opening new storefronts. Bringing comfort, warmth, and smiles to people’s daily lives is the real cherry on top. “I also hope that our journey can inspire others to believe in their passions and have the courage to turn something they truly love into something meaningful,” she says.
