For Mr. Tienvasin “Tien” Limkasemsathaporn, the secret to a fulfilled life comes crafted in a scoop of gelato. During his university exchange trips across Europe and South Korea, Tien did more than just study—he devoured the local culinary scenes, falling hopelessly in love with authentic gelato. Eating it daily sparked a bold ambition: to turn his delicious obsession into a thriving career.
After graduating with an International Business degree in 2024, Tien partnered with his sister—an exceptionally talented chef—to launch Scoops and Spokes. Drawing inspiration from industry icons like Khun Pla of Iberry Group, who also began her F&B empire with a small ice cream shop at a young age, Tien set out to build something truly special.
Turning a passion into a business, however, takes serious hustle. Tien routinely works over 10 hours a day, seven days a week. Yet, fatigue never melts his enthusiasm. For Tien, the long hours are a labor of love.
"I see my shop as my son," Tien shares with a warm smile. "I make sure to take good care of him, and I'm happy every time he grows. It feels like being a proud dad standing at the edge of the field, watching his son bring home a gold medal every day."
