On June 25 2025, the Film Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) turned the Screening Room at Aditayathorn Building into a cinema where students can come together and watch movies in celebration of Pride Month!

The Film Club selected three queer movies under the theme of “This Isn’t a Phase Mom!” showcasing radical-themed movies which are also full of fun and bright colors. “But I’m a Cheerleader” is a cult classic with technicolor style from the early 90’s. “Your Name Engraved Herein,” although more dramatic than the other two, holds a special place in many queer people’s hearts with its tragically beautiful storyline. And lastly, a fan favorite from last year, “Bottoms,” a modern hit, popular, quirky, and more!

The Film Club expressed hope that everyone had fun with the film screening, adding that it will bring out an even more diverse selection of films in its next Pride screening so that students can enjoy queer arts with full cinematic experience!
