Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Case Club organized a “Skill Testing Day” at Exhibition Hall, Aditayathorn Building on July 5, 2024.

The 50 students who participated were faced with a variety of tasks to assess their skills. In Operations, they created classic operation flow plans to demonstrate teamwork, resource management, and quick thinking. For Marketing, they used Canva to design projects, showcasing their creativity and digital marketing proficiency under pressure.

The Case Team candidates tackled a case study from the HSBC Business Case Competition 2024 final round on Cathay Pacific Airlines, where they developed and presented solutions, highlighting their business knowledge, analytical skills, and teamwork.

The results from “Skill Testing Day” were impressive, revealing a high level of skill and creativity across all departments. The club further filtered the applicants based on their performance and conducted individual interviews to identify the best candidates.

This thorough evaluation process ensured that the Case Club found individuals who not only possessed the necessary skills but also fit well with the club's team-oriented and dynamic environment. Club officers said this approach has strengthened the club and prepared it for future success.
