AGC Club Brings Back Popular Maid Cafe

With months of preparation and research, Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Animations, Games, and Comics Club’s “Maid Café” finally saw a rerun on November 3-5, 2025 at the Ground Floor of Aditayathorn Building.

The event provided not only a taste of Thai signature drinks but also snacks with a twist including international-themed desserts such as brownies and soft cookies. What had begun only as a small cafe suddenly turned itself into an event that sparked lasting pleasant memories among students and club officers and staff.

Students came to play board games, draw creative artworks, and share their identity through cosplays that really brought out their creative personalities, allowing everyone to express themselves in a most welcoming way. What’s more, the drinks and desserts came in combo sets bundled with a gift of handmade postcards from artists and club supporters and manufacturers.

Previously, this event gained enormous popularity within the MUIC community, leading to sold out activities. At the end of the day, the club said they managed to gain 60 percent of the profit goal from 5000 Baht with more than 100 audience members joining this event. Also notable was that the amount of food waste was much lower than before. AGC Club has donated all profits to the Ramathibodi Foundation.

By ensuring that such an event spread joy and support artistic endeavors of students, the club officers described this successful event as one of the club’s peaks.
