A Biological Sciences alumna of Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC), Ms. Nadthawee Promprasit, Co-founder & CMO of ANJĀLI Buddhism (อัญชลี), was invited to share her work at Better Mind Better Bangkok 2025 4th Edition on October 5, 2025 at Samyan Mitrtown in Bangkok.

Out of several projects that applied, only 12 were chosen for presentation. Ms. Nadthawee’steam, ANJĀLI, stood among them and received both a certificate of recognition and an award for contribution.

“ANJĀLI is more than an app. It is a reimagining of how we seek peace,” she said. “In a world trained to chase dopamine through endless scrolling, ANJĀLI turns that search inward which transform the chemical spark of pleasure into something slower, steadier, and nourishing.”

Through a customizable prayer list, full ritual flow, gamification streak (เติมลูกไฟน้ำมันตะเกียง), and mindful meditation (นั่งสมาธิใจฟู), dopamine becomes not just a fleeting rush, but a rhythm of peace, she added.

This application is available both in Thai and English. With its user-friendly design, anyone can use this app which has the following features:
• Personalized Ritual Flow (โฟลวทำบุญส่วนตัว)
• Customizable Prayers (การเลือกบทสวดมนต์ตามวัตถุประสงค์)
• Motivational Daily Quotes, Auto-scrolling Chants, Wishes
• Water Rituals
• Merit Points System

ANJĀLI combines Buddhist wisdom with modern design making "stillness in motion" accessible in the digital age.

This vision grew through the hands of a multidisciplinary team of students from MUIC’s Media and Communication, Chemistry, and other majors, each adding their own creativity to the project.

The event “Better Mind, Better Bangkok” was co-created by SATI APP, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), TIMS, ThaiHealth, ThaiPBS, Maybelline Brave Together, the Khonthai Foundation, and Samyan Mitrtown, all gathered under the theme HOPE.

According to Ms. Nadthawee, ANJĀLI is a gentle reminder: “Dopamine does not only belong to the quick hit of a notification. It can also belong to the quiet moment, the whispered prayer, the act of remembering what matters.”
