The Career Insights Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized an advertisement-making competition on July 9, 2025.

The contest, entitled, “The AD-venture: Creative Advertisement Competition x Dek Som Boon”

aimed to cultivate creativity and strategic thinking among university students. It offered competing students a chance to craft real-life advertising campaigns in response to an actual brand brief from a leading company, Dek Som Boon.

Contestants, working in teams of 2-3 students, battled each other through two rounds: a qualifying round judged through pitch deck submissions, and a final round where shortlisted teams pitched completed campaigns live to a panel of professionals and faculty experts. The competition featured diverse ad formats including video ads, short-form content, digital posts, and experiential campaigns.

With a total prize pool of 30,000 Baht, the event not only sharpened the participants’ marketing, advertising, and media production skills but also gave sponsors the opportunity to engage directly with young talent, while gaining valuable brand exposure across MUIC’s platforms.

The final presentation, which took place at the Spectrum Screening Room at Aditayathorn Building, showcased top-tier student creativity and collaborative innovation.
