A total of 45 students from the Communication Design (CDP) and the Creative Technology (CT) programs of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) played an active part in the MU Orientation 2025 which was held on July 29, 2025 at Prince Mahidol Hall.

Under the guidance of CDP and CT instructors, namely, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dynaya Bhutipunthu, Ajarn Yuttana Suntivong, and Ajarn Sarrath Virasakdi, the students took part in the development of the theme and the identity design of the event, along with the creation and the making of a series of key visuals and motion graphics throughout the stage sequence’s performances. Projection mapping and interactive activities were also implemented in the environment of the venue to help create an immersive experience for the audience.

Participating in this event, which the CDP and CT programs have been doing since 2023, allows students to apply their skills on actual practices, bridging the gap between in-class projects and real ones.

Working together with other organizations not only enhanced the adherence of the CDP and CT programs to UN SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goal, but also created impact for the students’ professional development and lifelong learning. Above all, this collaboration gave students the opportunity to build their unique portfolios thus increasing their chances to build a good career in stage, event/performance design, and in the entertainment and other related industries.
