Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Debate Club hosted its “Weekly Sessions” from January 14 to March 27, 2025, in Room A225 on the 2nd Floor of Aditayathorn Building.

The sessions offered a haven for students to hone their debating and critical thinking abilities.

Amidst the fervent demand for tournaments, the Debate Club’s “Weekly Sessions” served as a venue for the passions of the student debaters as well as hone their acumen for the upcoming tournaments.

During the 3rd Trimester, the Debate Club placed a greater emphasis on training and team-building exercises. In light of this, debaters pursuing a challenge were given a space to master and exhibit their public speaking abilities.

The coach and trainer of the Debate Club, Mr. Tate Lee, said, “I think our debaters were really fired up for the recent tournaments–our tryouts were as lively and competitive as they've ever been!”

The passion and dedication were evident in every practice session, with students pushing themselves and each other to excel. With a mix of seasoned debaters and promising newcomers, the club is poised for an exciting and successful season ahead.
