MUIC Conducts Training for Responding to Active Shooter Situations

Mahidol University International College (MUIC), in partnership with the Royal Thai Police, conducted a training workshop on how to respond to an active shooter situation on November 24, 2023 at Room A556 Spectrum Screening Space, Aditayathorn Building.

This training was deemed important in light of a recent active shooter incident. The college management showed its prioritization of the safety and well-being of its students, lecturers and staff and noted that providing this kind of training will empower individuals to respond effectively in such emergency situations.
Representatives from the Royal Thai Police, Patrol and Special Operation Division, S.W.A.T. (Arintaraj26), and Tourist Police Bureau served as trainers to the 250 participants.
