Mahidol University International College (MUIC) welcomed 193 inbound exchange and visiting students who enrolled in Trimester 2, AY 2025-2026 and gave them an orientation on MUIC policies along with useful tips on living in Thailand on December 29, 2025 at A556 Spectrum Screening Room, Aditayathorn Building, MUIC.

The foreign students were composed of different nationalities including Brunei
Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Austria, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, UK, Canada, USA, Indonesia, and Taiwan.

MUIC lecturers and staff warmly welcomed international students for a full-day Orientation focused on learning and cultural immersion. Students attended presentations on key academic success from their peers, gained insights on Thainess to smooth their stay, enjoyed a crash course in Thai language and culture, and joined a hands-on Thai traditional workshop.

The program also helped students feel relaxed with student co-organizers, confident in navigating MUIC and life in Thailand, and engaged in learning and practicing the Thai language—all while being aware it was their first arrival in the country.

The orientation was organized by the International Affairs Office.
