Several officers of the Mahidol University International College’s Model United Nations (MUICMUN) Club attended the “Press Conference by THMUN 2025” held on November 10, 2025 at Global Citizens Hall, Piyachat 2 Building, Thammasat University, Rangsit Center.

The club’s current president and vice president, along with eight other MUICMUN committee members attended the event which had a roster of distinguished speakers including prominent figures in diplomacy and also youth empowerment representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). They shared insights on the critical role young leaders play in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and shaping a more equitable and peaceful world.

This year’s theme, “Gen-Z in Action: Advancing Peace, Development, and Equity,” celebrates the pivotal role of Generation Z as dynamic young leaders dedicated to addressing global challenges through innovative and inclusive approaches.

One of the MUCMUN Club officers observed that they felt inspired by the passion of this generation and was also excited for the upcoming Thailand National Model United Nations Conference next year. “We hope the MUN Network Thailand continues to support the youth’s ideas and is willing to give them the platform to voice their opinions on their future,” the officer added.
