50 MUIC Students Attend Dance Workshop

A total of 50 members of the Mahidol University International College (MUIC) Dance Club held a dance workshop for several days in May, June and July from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Room 2303, MUIC Building 1.

The participants had an opportunity to meet many professional dance instructors from different dance studios and learn from them various dance styles, choreography and techniques to improve their dance skills during the sessions held on May 17, June 8, 13, 22 and  July 6, 2023. The club invited five professional instructors:

·      P’ Kwang @kzgirl_kzworld from Dmaniac Studio brought hip-hop groove and move so that everyone can learn another style of hip-hop.

·      P’ Best @ismybest, a choreographer who has created many unique dance moves, came to teach street jazz choreography.

·      P’ Sophie @stothesophie, a co-founder of Rhythmique Dance Camp, taught an intermediate open choreographing.

·      P’ Korn @korngoodboi, an instructor from Studiozoom39, Maniac Studio and Fave Dance Studio, came to teach his own choreography.

·      P’ Bell @bellchynt, a choreographer and dance teacher at Minimize Studio, BeatsboxBKK, Fave Studio, and Myx Studio taught her own choreography and dancing style.

The club asked dance enthusiasts to stay tuned for its activities for the 1st Trimester, Academic Year 2023-2024.

The project aims to support educational opportunities for under-resourced schools in provincial areas by donating lecture chairs and office equipment to enhance teaching and learning activities.
