Stepping off the gridiron to focus on community and club longevity, the American Flag Football Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) held its highly anticipated "Bonding Day" on July 7, 2026. The event, which balanced strategic planning with recreational play, took place across two locations: the Aditayathorn Building Canteen and MU Soccer Field 2.

While most of the club's weekly calendar was dominated by demanding physical practices, Bonding Day was designed to give active members a voice in the club's trajectory. Gathering at the Aditayathorn Building Canteen, members engaged in an open, honest forum. The discussion touched on club improvements, creative problem-solving, and the vital process of selecting the next executive leadership team.

According to organizers, the meeting was a major success, unlocking valuable insights and perspectives that members had not previously shared. With the strategic planning complete, the club transitioned to MU Soccer Field 2, closing out the day—and the term—with a friendly game that celebrated their shared passion for the sport.

On August 22, 2026, I completed my first IRONMAN triathlon in Tallinn, Estonia: a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km marathon. It took me 11 hours and 35 minutes. While one of the perks of finishing an IRONMAN is the right to brag, that isn’t the point of this post. The point is that MUIC supported me in achieving this personal goal through the 40th Anniversary Academic Changemakers Scholarship.
