Continuing a legacy that spans generations, Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) American Flag Football Club returned to Yooyen Stadium on March 7, 2026, for its signature In-House Tournament.
While the club prides itself on introducing fresh events each term, the In-House Tournament remains its most cherished constant. The tradition is so deeply rooted in the club’s identity that alumni from the 52xxxxx code era still recall competing in the same event during their time as students.
The tournament serves as a bridge between the classroom and the field, pitting students currently enrolled in the American Flag Football class against veteran members of the official club. This trimester’s iteration saw an impressive turnout, bringing together 21 club members and 25 students from the class.
“It is extremely rare to gather this many people for an event consistently,” noted a club representative. Despite the competitive spirit on the turf, the atmosphere at Phutthamonthon Sai 3 remained focused on sportsmanship and community. The primary goal was not the final score, but ensuring every participant had fun. For many members, the day provided a rare platform to showcase the skills they have honed during weekly practice sessions over the past months and years.
