Celebrities Inspire MUIC Students in Career Insights Club Event

The Career Insights Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) hosted a panel discussion on October 17, 2024 entitled "Behind the Curtain: Career Stories" at Charinyarasami Hall in Aditayathorn Building.

The event featured four distinguished speakers from the entertainment sector: Khun Saralee “Bam” Prasitdumrong, Actress and Founder of BMS Holding Co., Ltd. (Bedabeauty Brand); Khun Kreangsak “Man” Kreangkrainiyom, Managing Director of WHiZ Global Entertainment; Khun Thittamon “Pup” Kesornsiri, Creative Content Freelancer; and Khun Treechada “Numnim” Choktanasermsakul, News Anchor at The Standard.

In this session, several speakers shared their personal journeys of stepping out of their comfort zones to be able to build successful careers around their passions. Khun Saralee emphasized the importance of following one's passion, recounting how she built her company, BMS Holding Co. Ltd., from organic marketing. She highlighted the significance of being authentic and overcoming challenges like time management and stress.

On the other hand, Khun Kreangsak stressed the importance of personal development and seizing opportunities. Khun Thittamon, meanwhile, urged the audience to embrace one's uniqueness and use social media to connect with like-minded people. Khun Treechada spoke about the evolving world of journalism, which focuses on adaptability, storytelling, and ethics.

Each speaker emphasized starting with what you have, staying authentic, and not letting others define your path while continuing to grow and embrace change in a fast-moving world.

There were 36 students who attended the activity.
